Solar Powered Oven

I forgot, how cool is this, my mom is sending me a solar powered oven! I'm pretty stoked; I've been missing being able to bake. Now I feel like I'm going to be baking non-stop. Maybe this will help me win over some Mauritanians to American cooking, ha. I'm also thinking about maybe starting a project involving these ovens. It's just an idea at the moment, and what with the center, I don't have a whole lot of time for secondary projects at the moment, but I definitely see some potential here. I can probably tie it into the GMC program pretty easily. Thanks, Mom!

The oven left here for you this morning. Can't wait to hear how it performs. Love always, Mom

Greetings,
My name is Nathan Parry
The Title on your post caught my attention since it has to do with something I am very passionate about, and that is solar cooking.
I noticed the link took me to Solar Oven Society web page.
Is this the solar oven you are receiving? If so this is a great oven, I own one and use it all the time, in fact I am a distributor for them also.
I am sure you will get a lot of use out of your new oven.
It's a great thing to be able to use the power of the sun to cook your food.
My solar cooking students from my classes are always amazed and how practical and feasible it really is.

Good luck in your all of your endeavors and efforts.
Sincerely
Nathan Parry
